Ankylos® Dental Implants
Roomchang only uses the best quality materials and favours the German Ankylos® dental implant system for implant and reconstruction work. Ankylos® has been a leading choice for patients and dentists for over 25 years, oft copied but never equaled, Ankylos® features a number of revolutionary concepts such as SynCone® prosthetics, Friadent®plus micro-rough surface and SmartFix™ angled insertion concept.
The key advantages of the Ankylos® implants are:
Brilliant: Stable, long-term esthetics, a well-engineered system, made in Germany, available worldwide, often imitated but never equaled – this is Ankylos®. Manufactured of purely neutral titanium, Ankylos® is easily accepted by the human body and thus the chances of rejection are minimized. Ankylos® implants are secured in sterile glass tubes and are opened just before the implant procedure begins.
Ankylos® is TissueCare! And soft tissues just love Ankylos®: the geometry in the implant region leaves plenty of room for ample, healthy gum tissue – the progressive thread design contributes to retention of the bone and the bone apposition right up to the abutment keeps the soft tissues permanently healthy.
The implant that does not “stink”: gaps between the implant and the abutment result in “offensive” bacterial colonization and hence lead to an inflammation reaction in the tissues. Ankylos® stays tight! ensuring no gaps between the implant and bone and gum tissue.
Every micromovement between the implant and the crown abutment irritates the adjacent bone and may lead to bone resorption in the region of the implant shoulder. Thanks to the friction-locked and keyed Ankylos® TissueCare Connection, a virtually single-piece implant is formed that provides for stable tissues right from the outset.
ANKYLOS® always fits: Its patented tapered connection and micro-rough surface ensure no movement and promote bone and gum tissue stability . And, thanks to the identical tapered connection for every implant diameter, every prosthetic abutment fits every implant. Simply brilliant, brilliantly simple!
Beyond Teeth Whitening
The Beyond Polus system is the latest in whitening technology from BEYOND featuring Lightbright© technology, giving you a dazzling withe smile which can last up to 2 years in just one 45 minute treatment.
Beyond Polus is one of the best laser treatment products on the market. If you have outwardly visible and tough stains from food, drinks or cigarettes, then Beyond Polus is particularly effective. Even if you have fluoride or age related stains, Beyond Polus will bring your teeth back to as naturally white as they can be.
Teeth whitening is a safe, painless and quick treatment that gives outstanding results. Your smile is the first impression you give to the world, so a clean, bright and sparkling smile can make a big difference when meeting new people.
Beyond Polus is safer than other whitening treatments because it uses a beam of high intensity blue light rather then the heat lamp commonly used by other whitening treatments. Any harmful ultra violet (UV) light is completely removed by the 12,000 strong optical fibre filtering system, leaving only a focused beam of cold light to whiten your teeth.
The cold light permeates deep into your teeth, causing oxidation (removal of top layer stains and discoloring) without any harmful side effects.
CAD/CAM E4D Dentistry
Thanks to new technology and Roomchang’s investment in cutting-edge equipment employing the latest in worldwide dental practices, you can now have a new crown installed at Roomchang in only one visit.
E4D dentistry uses a computer system to scan the inside of a patient’s mouth and transfer scanned data to a computerized modeling system to create a 3-D virtual model of your mouth. From that, your specially-trained Roomchang dentist can access the best material possible to create a crown that can be installed within hours.
It’s same-day dentistry, replacing the manual method of installing crowns that required patients to make multiple visits, often over a period of weeks, and eliminates uncomfortable temporary crowns. E4D provides highly accurate crowns that will be permanently cemented into place within a matter of hours.
Dr. Tith Hongyoeu personally researched the best available E4D technology and invested in two weeks-long initial training seminar at the E4D institute in the United States as part of Roomchang’s overall investment in this exciting new technology.
“This is the latest technology for modern dentistry,” he says.
E4D employs several stages, according to Dr. Tith.
First, the tooth is prepared using convention methods to clear away the damaged tooth tissue and prepare a foundation for the replacement installation.
Next, a digital image is taken of the prepared tooth. That image is then sent to a computer for design of the restoration and then to a milling unit located on the Roomchang premises. Your Roomchang dentist will select the material for your restoration from an array of ceramic and composite resin options, choosing a customized material for your individual case.
Patients no longer have to wait to have an impression made or return for a second visit to have an inlay, onlay, veneer or crown installed.
High quality, beautiful restorations are completed by your Roomchang dentist in a single appointment, providing unprecedented quality and efficiency for our patients.
Lumineers patented ultra-thin technology is the number 1 patient requested veneer system in the world. Digitally designed, Lumineers are as thin as a contact lens and are applied seamlessly over your teeth to deliver a natural looking smile.
Not All Veneers Are Made the Same
Traditional veneers are generally thicker, and require irreversible removal of more healthy tooth structure. Preparation for traditional veneers usually involves placement of acrylic temporaries for over two weeks between visits and can requires shots and anesthesia to minimize sensitivity and pain. Lumineers veneers are much less invasive, and don’t require extensive drilling, shots or unsightly acrylic temporaries.
Why get Lumineers?
Lumineers can solve a variety of unsightly dental problems, check the list below to see if Lumineers are the right solution for you:
Stained and Discolored Teeth
Staining and discoloration are common problems. Teeth whitening is a common option, but may not eliminate all the stains, or last very long. Lumineers provide a long-lasting white smile, no matter what you eat or drink! Whether the stains are caused by time, drinking coffee or red wine, or by tetracycline staining, Lumineers can transform your smile with a permanently bright and natural look.
Do you have a chip on one of your teeth? Is it right in the front where everyone can see? Lumineers offer a painless and pleasant way to fix your chipped tooth for good.
Spaces and Gaps
Is there a gap between your front teeth or some other spacing problem that you wish you didn’t have? Lumineers is a fast, non-invasive procedure for eliminating gaps between teeth. In just 2 short visits to your dentist, these ultra-thin “smile shapers” will eliminate excess space, while keeping your original teeth intact.
Lumineers provide a painless, fast alternative to braces that offers a perfectly-aligned look along with a beautiful smile. Despite the fact that braces are readily available for adults, most do not want to endure the pain and suffering, or the embarrassment. Now you can have a completely corrected smile, in just 2 short visits to Roomchang, with Lumineers—an ideal alternative to orthodontics.
Small or Misshapen Teeth
Misshapen teeth can really detract from your appearance. You’ve probably been reluctant to have a traditional veneer procedure for fear that your teeth will be ground down. Not with Lumineers. Ultra-thin Lumineers are simply placed over your original teeth, and in most cases don’t require the removal of any sensitive tooth structure.
Renew Old Dental Work
No matter your age, old crowns and bridgework add many years to your face. Lumineers can easily be placed on top of crowns and bridgework to give you a beautiful smile—painlessly.
Invisalign is a nearly invisible replacement treatment for traditional retainers enabling you to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always dreamed of. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, Invisalign plans out your complete treatment, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position. A series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth – and your teeth only – to move them little by little. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
Dentists or orthodontists have, in the past, successfully used removable appliances for years. But with 3D computer technology and personlaised customisation, the Invisalign System can be used to treat a wide range of patients who wants straighter teeth. The unique software allows patients to see their treatment plan from beginning to end even before the start of treatment.
How it works
Invisalign aligners move teeth with an appropriate placement of controlled movement on the teeth. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign not only controls the amount of movement per aligner, but also the timing of the movement. So at each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move. This results in an efficient force delivery system that moves teeth into the desired prescribed position.
Advantages of Invisalign
Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible. No one may even notice that you’re wearing these virtually invisible aligners, making Invisalign a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others.
Invisalign aligners are not only smooth and comfortable to wear, but are also removable giving you the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment by simply removing the aligners. And you can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and to maintain good oral hygiene.
Invisalign is also ideal for your busy schedule, with fewer doctor visits required. Unlike traditional fixed braces, there are no metal brackets or wires. This means that in most cases less time is spent in your Invisalign Provider’s practice for adjustments.
See Results Before You Start
And finally, Invisalign allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you even begin treatment so you can see how your teeth are expected to look when your treatment is complete
GC G-ænial Universal Flo
Roomchang uses GC G-ænial Universal Flo for composite resin fillings. Research carried out by Roomchang and by other dental institutes shows composite resin based fillings to be much safer than traditional amalgam fillings. Roomchang strongly advises against amalgam fillings and can replace existing amalgam fillings with safer composite resin material.
No Harmful Materials
Amalgam fillings, also known as silver fillings due to their appearance, contains elemental mercury and releases low levels of mercury vapor that can be inhaled. Approximately half of a dental amalgam filling is liquid mercury and the other half is a powdered alloy of silver, tin, and copper. High levels of mercury vapor exposure are associated with adverse effects in the brain and the kidneys, and studies have shown that amalgam adversely affects healthy adjacent tissue.
Composite resins, also called “white fillings”, are a mixture of plastic and glass which contain no harmful materials, and studies have shown that the wear resistance and strength of composite resins is comparable to heavy metal based fillings.
Flowable composite resins are a further development of resin which offer superior bonding and coverage. Thick liquids which are layered onto the cavity and heat treated with special light to cure the resin, GC G-ænial flo resin fillings offers superior bonding and involves no removal of healthy tooth enamel which often occurs to hold metal fillings in place. Advancements in dental technology mean flowable resins now offer the same or better longitivity and durability as traditional metal fillings.
GC G-ænial Universal Flo composites have enhanced longevity, esthetics, and handling compared to other amalgam and composite resin fillings. Available in a broad range of 15 shades and 3 different levels of translucencies, it blends in perfectly with your existing teeth making it impossible to tell you’ve had a filling. G-ænial reflects light in a manner similar to enamel and take on a very high gloss when polished, giving it a more natural look than other composites.
