Healthy Smiles Start Young
Pediatric Dentistry
Early care of children's teeth means healthy teeth for life. Studies show that children with healthy primary teeth are more likely to have healthy permanent teeth — and regular dental visits from an early age prevent pain, infections, and future orthodontic problems.

When Should My Child First Visit?
We recommend a child's first dental visit when their first tooth appears, or by their first birthday at the latest. Early visits establish a positive relationship with dental care, allow us to monitor development, and catch any issues — such as early decay or crowding — before they become serious problems.
Parents play a key role: supervised brushing twice daily with a small amount of fluoride toothpaste, limiting sugary foods and drinks, and attending regular check-ups every 6 months from age 2 onward.
For anxious children, we offer a gentle introduction visit before any treatment — just to meet the dentist and explore the chair — making subsequent visits much less stressful.
